Chi Development Course

£45 or £55

These courses focus on developing and strengthening your mental connections to Chi. Each 4 week course has a theme and intention supported by a special Korean chant. You can join one course or multiple courses as a different chant will be introduced for each course.

Choose your preferred four week course: 7pm Tuesdays or 1pm Fridays.

These Chi development sessions are a complement to our regular Tai Chi classes although you can join this course with no prior Tai Chi experience.

Françoise Ha, Chi Master Practitioner and experienced teacher, leads these sessions at Redlands Sports Centre in Weymouth.

Structure of Course

a) Breathing and Calming Exercises – Prepare mind and body to enter a world of peace and balance.

b) Chanting – Introduction to Korean chanting with a specific Chunmoon to support the theme of the month. All chants support you to cultivate a brighter, clearer mind and thinking.

c) Meditation – Practise mindful focus and mental clearing.

d) Q & A – Time to learn more about Chi. Ask your questions in a friendly group.

Course Options:

1) £45 including access to a selection of Chi exercise videos for 3 months.

2)£55 to also include mp3 audio of the current Chunmoon (Korean chant) plus spiral bound printed text. This is the recommended option for those who are new to these chants so you can practise at home.

Important Notes:

  1. This course is led by Françoise Ha, Korean-trained Chi Teacher, but Incheol Ha may substitute to ensure the sessions go ahead as scheduled.
  2. Booking is non-refundable. However should you be unable to attend and email hello@thechizone.com at the latest 72 hours prior to the course start date, then at our discretion we may transfer your booking to a future Chi Development Course taking place in the next three months (subject to availability).
