These courses focus on developing and strengthening your mental connections to Chi. Each 4 week course has a theme and intention supported by a special Korean chant. You can join one course or multiple courses as a different chant will be introduced for each course.
Includes online access to a selection of Chi exercise videos for 3 months via your personal account on our website. Plus mp3 audio of the current Chunmoon (Korean chant) and printed text so you can practise at home.

Current course availability is 1pm Fridays.

These Chi development sessions are a complement to our regular Tai Chi classes although you can join this course with no prior Tai Chi experience.

Françoise Ha, Chi Master Practitioner and experienced teacher, leads these sessions at Redlands Sports Centre in Weymouth.


Structure of Course

a) Breathing and Calming Exercises – Prepare mind and body to enter a world of peace and balance.

b) Chanting – Introduction to Korean chanting with a specific Chunmoon to support the theme of the month. All chants support you to cultivate a brighter, clearer mind and thinking.

c) Meditation – Practise mindful focus and mental clearing.

d) Q & A – Time to learn more about Chi. Ask your questions in a friendly group.


Important Notes:

  1. This course is led by Françoise Ha, Korean-trained Chi Teacher, but Incheol Ha may substitute to ensure the sessions go ahead as scheduled.
  2. Booking is non-refundable. However should you be unable to attend and email hello@thechizone.com at the latest 72 hours prior to the course start date, then at our discretion we may transfer your booking to a future Chi Development Course taking place in the next three months (subject to availability).
