Carol’s story:
” Last summer, by chance, (I know – no such thing!) I found a leaflet about The Chi Zone. I was intrigued. As a Reiki practitioner I was familiar with the concept of Chi, as life force, invisible energy, and a powerful mode for healing and also spiritual practice. I was drawn to the idea of acupressure, having had acupuncture in the past, but to be honest, I was simply looking for a way to reduce the pain and impact on my mobility of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. I also wanted to find a way of managing long Covid symptoms which exacerbated pain levels and prevented any meaningful exercise to build up my strength and flexibility and stamina.
I began with acupressure therapy on a fairly regular basis, while also learning more about my own responses to the health issues I seem to have been inundated with in recent years. The sessions are powerful, potentially transformative and were effective over time in helping manage pain and fatigue. But this is no passive being ‘done to’ therapy in a sense, because as my own awareness of my energy levels grew , I was invited to include the influence of the invisible world, the spiritual dimensions of life. I realised that my intense engagement with the traditional allopathic medical model had disempowered me. I had become passive, which contributed to an acceptance of decisions, diagnoses, treatments without harnessing my own judgement and my own healing practices. This has been one of the major gifts of Chi, returning my awareness of the strength and wisdom of our spiritual world and taking charge of my own wellbeing, with the support and insights given by Francoise.
That is not to say that allopathic medicine has been rejected, but I am using discernment to make choices and they are my fully aware choices. That does not mean rejecting medication, physio, expert (if mechanical) advice. Indeed, late last year I had a serious spinal injury/incident which meant I could not walk for about two months. I couldn’t even stand up straight! I used powerful medication to help control the unbearable pain and we also embarked on an intense period of working together with Francoise to clear negative energy, replacing it with bright, healing energy. My recovery was slow but consistent and the support, expertise and quick responses from Francoise are in my view, entirely responsible. The episode inevitably led to referral to a spinal surgeon/specialist who was astounded by my recovery (as was my GP), given the evidence of Xrays, examinations, etc. Without Chi and Francoise I am sure the outcome would have been very different.
I realise that not everyone needs or wants the level of intensity/engagement that I have with Chi and Francoise but if you have explored all the options and are still struggling I urge you to make contact with Francoise and Incheol. Join one of their Chi sessions, book an acupressure session or even just a consultation. I cannot recommend them highly enough, whether you are looking for some powerful healing modes, taking charge of your own wellbeing, or, like me just curious and intrigued, go for it!
Blessings
