Your Focus for Training

To maximise the benefits of your Chi session when practising on your own, please aim to practise in an area which is clean and tidy.

When you are ready to start, make a half-bow and say, “Shinsundo hapshida“.

This will help you to focus more clearly during your practice and support your connection to bright Chi.

‘Shinsundo hapshida’ means ‘Let’s become as bright a human being as we can.’ In other words – “Let’s do it!”

When you are ready to finish your personal session, again please make a half-bow and say, “Shinsundo hapshida“.

You may have limited time or stamina to train depending on your health and personal schedule. The timings below are suggestions for your length of Chi session with a minimum of around 30 minutes and a maximum of one hour.

1)  Start with a half-bow and say, “Shinsundo hapshida”.

2) Chant the Training Class Chunmoon x 5 times. Then make a seated half-bow.

3) Chi movements for 15-30 minutes.

4)  Meditation for 5-20 minutes.

5)  End with a half-bow and say, “Shinsundo hapshida”.
